Oslo, February 17, 2023. The Cuban ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, held a meeting with Merete Fjeld Brattested, general director of Multilateral Affairs of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Issues of interest for Cuba in the multilateral field were addressed during the exchange, which took place in a cordial atmosphere, in correspondence with the existing cooperation between the two countries in international organizations, mainly at the United Nations.
The Ambassador availed herself of the opportunity to thank Norway for voting in favor of the resolution "Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba", approved last November 3 at the UN General Assembly with the support of the overwhelming majority of the international community.
