Mr. President,
We welcome the delegation of Albania. We recognize the country's active involvement in the Universal Periodic Review.
We positively note that Albania has accepted 239 out of the 253 recommendations received, demonstrating its political will to identify and address its national challenges.
We are pleased that the four respectful and constructive recommendations made by Cuba have been accepted, and we trust that they will be duly implemented.
We underscore the importance of intensifying efforts to reduce poverty and ensuring the implementation of the Social Security Law, as well as continuing to promote the equal participation of women in the public and political life of the country.
We wish Albania success in implementing the accepted recommendations and express our support for the adoption of the report.
