Oslo, May 12, 2022. The ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, attended a reception offered by the Presidium of the Norwegian Parliament (Storting) in honor of the accredited Diplomatic Corps.
Upon her arrival, the Ambassador had the opportunity to greet the president of the Storting, Masud Gharahkhani, as well as the five vice-presidents: Svein Harberg, Nils T. Bjørke, Morten Wold, Kari Henriksen and Ingrid Fiskaa.
During the reception, the Cuban diplomat was able to exchange with the President of the Storting himself and with several members of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defense, including Dag-Inge Ulstein and Ingrid Fiskaa. She was also able to talk with Siv Mossleth, who is part of the Standing Committee on Energy and Environment . To all of them, she expressed interest in working for the development of relations between the two countries in the parliamentary sphere.
The occasion was also propitious to establish contact with officials from the International Department of the Storting.
To conclude, the Ambassador, along with other colleagues from the Diplomatic Corps, enjoyed an interesting tour of the Storting building. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
