Harare, April 15, 2025—The Ambassadors of Cuba, Her Excellency Ms. Susellys Perez Mesa, and Zimbabwe, His Excellency Mr. Paul Chikawa, met in Harare with the will and action to promote bilateral relations within the framework of the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two nations, this April 20.
Perez Mesa and Chikawa reviewed ongoing projects and initiatives explored to expand the scope of ties, which maintain their excellent state.
In the presence of Minister Counselor Luis Enrique Gonzalez Acosta, the occasion was an opportune moment to recognize the work of medical cooperation of the Caribbean nation in this country and the determination to continue this program for the benefit of the Zimbabwean people.
The Head of the Cuban Mission extended congratulations on Zimbabwe's Independence Day, next April 18, as well as the desire to continue supporting the African nation in its development.
