The Anniversary of the CDR is celebrated in Laos.

In a political-cultural activity with the directive of the Friendship Association, Laos graduates in Cuba, the only Cuban resident and the staff of the Embassy of Cuba, was celebrated in this diplomatic headquarters, this day, the Anniversary of the creation of the Committees of Defense of the Revolution. The activity was also dedicated to the important events for our country in the month of October, such as the anniversary of the fall of Commander Ernesto Guevara, October 10 and the day of National Culture.
The Ambassador, Pablo Rodríguez Vidal, updated those present on topics of interest such as: the blockade and the new sanctions against Cuba, the situation in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Cuba-China relations and the Investment Law. He also made a summary of the results of the visits of the 3 Cuban delegations that visited Laos in the last two months.
On the Lao side, Cro spoke. Pouankeo Langsi, former Ambassador to Cuba who referred to the role of Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro in the creation and life of the CDRs and the support that Sister RDP Lao offers to Cuba regarding the US Blockade.
As usual, after the political part, the activity became a great celebration of brotherhood and solidarity, where Cubans and this group of graduates on our island who consider it their second homeland, shared Cuban music and food.
