Victoria, 26 July._ The Cuban Embassy in Seychelles commemorated the 72nd anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks in a ceremony organized by the Seychelles-Cuba Friendship Association (SECUFA), which was also attended by officials from the Ministry of Health and Foreign Affairs, colleagues from the diplomatic corps, members of the Medical Brigade, Cuban residents, and friends from other sectors.
We deeply thanked SECUFA for its firm and energetic continued denunciation of the blockade maintained by the United States government against our island and for its unwavering support for the Cuban people and their Revolution.
Also on 26 July, the Cuban Embassy participated in SECUFA's 2025 Annual General Assembly, where they took stock of the activities carried out over the past 12 months and outlined new projects.
Cuba and Seychelles are strengthening their historic ties of friendship and solidarity.
