Association of Cuban Residents in Jamaica and State Mission send donation to provinces affected by Hurricane Melissa.

Kingston, 18 December 2025. The Association of Cuban Residents in Jamaica ‘Antonio Maceo’ and the State Mission coordinated the shipment of a donation to the provinces affected by Hurricane Melissa last October.

The aid, which departed from Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, consists of more than 100 kg of food, medicine, toiletries and other materials, adding to previous efforts to deal with accidents and weather events.

The transfer operation to Cuba was supported, as has been customary, by the travel agency Caribbean & Latin Travel and the airline Aerogaviota.
