Athens, Greece, December 10, 2025 — The 12th Athens International Tourism and Culture Fair (AIT Expo) concluded today with positive results, highlighting Cuba's successful participation.
The presence of the Cuban Embassy, from December 8 to 10 at the Zappeion Exhibition & Conference Hall, marked a milestone in the Caribbean island's strategy to strengthen its position in the Greek and Southeast European markets.
The Cuban stand, dedicated to promoting its attractive tourism offerings, experienced excellent visitor numbers. There was significant interest from the Greek community and industry professionals, who recognized Cuba's potential as a destination offering authentic experiences rich in history and culture.
Participation not only allowed us to present the Cuban tourism product, but also to establish valuable contacts and outline strategies to continue diversifying source markets and consolidate Cuba's image as a comprehensive destination.
