Jakarta, October 19- With the purpose of consolidating the economic diplomacy, the III Indonesia-Latin America and Caribbean Business Forum (INA-LAC) 2021 was inaugurated in this capital, aimed to revitalizing economic ties and business collaboration between both regions in a context of the current post-pandemic global dynamics.

Together with the group of Latin American and Caribbean ambassadors, the Head of the Cuban Mission in this country, Tania Velázquez López, attended the event in person, whose official opening was led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, Mrs. Retno Marsudiy, who considered it positive that his country and the Latin American and Caribbean region evaluate effective measures for the reopening of secure borders, facilitating the establishment of travel and business corridors, under the implementation of strict health protocols.

“In the long term we can expand similar corridors to tourist destinations. To achieve this, it is necessary to explore the mutual recognition of vaccine certificates between Indonesia and Latin American and Caribbean countries, ”said the Indonesian Foreign Minister.

Likewise, the Chancellor announced the launch of the ina-accsess.com digital platform, a space that will provide direct interaction between entrepreneurs from both regions, in which more than 130 investment projects will be offered, both "green projects" and "fields de cacao ", ready for investment and backed by the Ministry of Investments and the Central Bank of Indonesia.
