JAKARTA, October 2, 2025. The Ambassador of Cuba to ASEAN, Dagmar González Grau, participated in the Briefing Session on the outcomes of the 46th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA), in which Cuba takes part as an observer. On this occasion, the Ambassador greeted the Secretary General of AIPA, Siti Rozaimeriyanty Dato Haji Abdul Rahman, an architect by training and parliamentarian from Brunei Darussalam.

The Ambassador of Cuba to Indonesia and to ASEAN, Dagmar González Grau hosted Mrs. Rikrik Ilyas, CEO of Innokeys; Mr. Johannes Setijono, Chairman of the Board of the company; Mr. Julito Siahaan, Commercial Director; Dr. Fadil Fahri; Mr. Zafar Disnesh Idham; and Dr. Pedro Camilo Rodríguez from Cuba’s Center for Molecular Immunology (CIM) at the Cuban Embassy Residence in Indonesia.
It was an excellent working lunch where new opportunities for collaboration between INNOKEYS and CIM/CIMAB were explored.
JAKARTA, September 18, 2025. Cuban Ambassador to ASEAN Dagmar González Grau delivers a speech at the Second Conference of the High Contracting Parties to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC).
The Ambassador expressed that ASEAN has been a steadfast ally in the defense of Cuban sovereignty, year after year supporting the Resolution against the economic and commercial embargo imposed on Cuba by the United States.
She emphasized the importance of Cuba acknowledging ASEAN as a successful model for sustainable development and regional integration.
JAKARTA, 15 September 2025. The President (with ministerial rank) of Indonesia’s National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Laksana Tri Handoko received the Cuban Ambassador to Indonesia, Dagmar González Grau.
During the meeting, they reviewed the status of ongoing initiatives stemming from the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in science, technology, and innovation, signed between CITMA and BRIN in September 2004.
They also discussed other potential areas of cooperation, including those that could be developed within the framework of ASEAN.
