Authorities of the Stockholm Environment Institute exchange with the Ambassador of Cuba in Sweden

Stockholm, Sweden - February 24, 2022-. As part of the exchanges aimed at strengthening bilateral relations of mutual interest, the Cuban Ambassador to Sweden, Alba Soto, held a working meeting with authorities from the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI). Ms. Marie Jürisoo, Director of Operations, Dr. Karina Barquet, Principal Investigator, and Dr. Sarah Dickin, Leader of the sanitation and health team of the aforementioned institution, were present.

An approach to the work of the SEI; the approach of points in common of their work objectives with the priorities established by the National Plan for Economic and Social Development until 2030 of Cuba, the Life Task, as well as the possibilities of advancing in joint projects, were addressed in the meeting, the which took place in a relaxed atmosphere of mutual interest.

SEI has been present in Latin America since 2018, with headquarters in Bogotá, Colombia, and has already implemented cooperation projects in seven countries in the region.
