The Cuban citizen José Daniel Ferrer García, accompanied by several members of his family, who are also Cuban citizens, has departed from the national territory of Cuba this October 13, 2025.
His departure from Cuba for the United States takes place in response to a formal request by the government of that country and the express consent of Ferrer García and in compliance with all law enforcement formalities established between both countries.

The Government of the Republic of Cuba rejects the mendacious allegations being spread by the United States Government concerning an alleged involvement of Cuba in the military conflict in Ukraine. This is a slanderous accusation first launched in 2023 by certain media outlets without offering any evidence or substantiation of any kind, and clearly serving an assigned purpose.

Stockholm, May 19. Chargé d'Affaires a.i. David Roblejo Balbuena participated in a meeting convened by GRULAC with representatives of Ericsson, a Swedish multinational network and telecommunications company headquartered in this city.
The meeting included discussions on the Swedish company's contribution to the development of the telecommunications industry, particularly the global 5G network, with examples of practical applications, as well as the possibilities for exploring exchange opportunities in Latin America and the Caribbean.
