Awarding of the commemorative stamp of the "60th Anniversary of ICAP" to the Cuba-Turkey Solidarity Association "José Martí".

Cuban Ambassador to Turkey, Dr. Alejandro F. Díaz Palacios, read out the Order No. 94 of the President of ICAP, the hero of the Republic of Cuba Fernando González Llort, which awards the commemorative stamp of the "60th Anniversary of ICAP" to the "José Martí" Association of Turkey, in recognition of the work of solidarity and in support of the struggle of the Cuban people for their independence and socio-economic development. He immediately handed over the aforementioned stamp to Nahide Ozkan, President of the Cuba-Turkey Friendship Association "José Martí".

Afterwards, the Cuban Ambassador made a speech in which he highlighted the causes that have affected the Cuban people, in particular the criminal economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the US on the Cuban people, with the aim of increasing the deterioration of the country's socio-economic situation, in order to provoke political destabilisation that would allow the empire to justify a "humanitarian" military intervention against Cuba. He thanked the Turkish people for their historic solidarity with the Cuban people.
