The Museum of Miniature Books located in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, dedicates its biannual exhibition to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, diplomatic sources said today in this capital.
The cultural institution, the only one of its kind in the world, highlights in its central showcase copies of the biography of Fidel and his work The History Will Absolve Me, which presents a program of revolutionary development.
In the tribute, the director of the aforementioned center, Zarifa Salajova, underlined Fidel's leadership in Latin America and Cuba and his reference for the revolutionaries of the world.
Salajova stressed that its center also pays tribute to the 58th anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution, "a fact that changed the destiny of the Caribbean island."
The ambassador of Cuba in Azerbaijan, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, emphasized that the Commander in Chief is remembered in this nation for his revolutionary legacy and solidarity with the peoples of the world.
Nieves Portuondo thanked the gesture of the cultural institution to highlight the figure of Fidel Castro and the relevant moments in the history of the Cuban people.
The museum, visited by hundreds of tourists and located in the populous historical center of this capital, has more than six thousand 500 books from 70 countries.
