Several Barbadian artists, in a combination of established professionals and young talents, staged an excellent free concert to close the program of activities commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the Barbados Crime, held in Bridgetown on October 2-8. Thus they made the farewell to international delegates from Cuba, USA, Antigua and Barbuda, Guyana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago. Icons like Anthony "Gabby" Carter, Charles "The legend" Odell, Onkphra, Adrian Green, joined young artists like Khaled, Najuma and other talents of "Clement Payne" Cultural Centre to delight an audience that for several days empathized in the fight of Caribbean peoples against terrorism. In that sense, the Cuban Ambassador to acknowledge the gesture of the Barbadian people, asked to also dedicate the concert the Commander Ernesto Che Guevara, the Heroic Guerrilla man, who on October 8, 1967 was a victim of state terrorism falling assassinated by a CIA agent in the Bolivian jungles.
