A Barbadian delegation attends Conference of the Caribbean Historians Association in Cuba

A large delegation of Barbadian academics attend the annual edition of the Conference of the Association of Caribbean Historians (AHC) to be held in Havana between June 2 and 9, in which the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of the West Indies - Cave Hill campus, Dr Evelyn O'Callaghan, as well as the Chiefs of Departments of Art and Literature, Dr Ian Craig, and Sociology, Tennyson Joseph, of the Faculty of Government and Social Sciences, between other renowned intellectuals; this type of actions give content to the current Memorandum of Understanding between the UWI and the University of Havana (UH) that extends to an extensive panorama of cultural and artistic events in which various Cuban institutions are involved.
