The World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) and its Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean sent a letter of congratulations to the National Union of Public Employees (NUPW) of Barbados in the framework of the Annual Conference. The message addressed to its president, Akanni McDowall, was read at its headquarters in Dalkeith Road by Cuban Ambassador Francisco Fernandez, who highlighted the leadership and militancy of the Caribbean Union in defense of workers and the message of solidarity of the working class.
