A high-level delegation from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) headed by its President, Dr. Warren Smith, visited Havana on January 29, where he held important exchange meetings with various Cuban entities. In the program facilitated by the Cuban Embassy in Barbados and organized with the presidency of the Central Bank of Cuba, the delegation also composed of the Vice President Mrs. Yvette Lemonias and the Assistant, Mr. Volville Forsythe, was received by the president of the BCC, the Ministers of Finance, Planning and Foreign Investment, as well as by a Vice-Chancellor. During the visit, the aspects of financial policy, the regional economic scenario and the procedures to be followed for a future membership of Cuba in the CDB were examined, which will be studied by both parties in the coming months.
