It was an honor to attend the presentation of the book "The Pentagon's Shadow over Latin America – From the Cold War to Trump" by Ilias Skyllakos, published by Topos Publishing House.
Several speakers highlighted the book's up-to-date and profound content, as well as the objectivity of the author's analyses and conclusions regarding the realities and dangers facing the peoples of this region due to the aggressive and coercive policies of imperialism, which reinforce its claims to domination and plunder.
In a brief greeting, I expressed my gratitude for the firm rejection shown by diverse sectors of Greek society against the threats and aggressions of imperialism, and for the constant expressions of solidarity with the struggle of the Cuban people and their Revolution. The head of the Venezuelan mission also addressed the participants.
