Paris, Nov 20 The Cuban Institute for Friendship with Peoples (ICAP) announced that around 100 organizations from 25 countries will participate in the XIX Continental European Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, taking place in Paris from November 22 to 24, including from Ireland.
The forum is expected to gather approximately 280 delegates to address several topics, including the condemnation of the economic blockade imposed by the U.S. on Cuba for over 60 years, according to Rigoberto Zarza, ICAP’s director for Europe.
Zarza also noted the meeting’s aim to denounce Cuba’s re-inclusion on Washington’s list of state sponsors of terrorism and to discuss cooperation efforts in social media supporting the Cuban people and their Revolution.
The event, hosted at the French Communist Party’s headquarters in Colonel Fabien Square, will be led by solidarity associations, political groups, trade unions, and various social organizations.
