Cuban Ambassador Meets with the Head of International Relations of the NCPN

The Hague, March 27, 2025. The Cuban Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Eva Yelina Silva Walker, received the Head of International Relations of the New Communist Party of the Netherlands (NCPN) at the Embassy.

They discussed current internal situation in Cuba, the impacts of the genocidal US blockade against the Caribbean island for more than 60 years, and Cuba's inclusion on the spurious List of State Sponsors of Terrorism.

The World Marathon of Love for Cuba began on the 64th anniversary of ICAP.

Today, 30 December, the 64th anniversary of the founding of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), the ‘World Marathon of Love for Cuba’, an initiative promoted by the Continental Network of Latin America and the Caribbean for Solidarity with Cuba and Just Causes, was launched at a virtual press conference.This event will mark a milestone in the actions of solidarity movements that will carry out the most diverse solidarity activities throughout the year 2025. 

Seychelles media highlights March in Cuba demanding the lifting of the blockade

Victoria, december 26._ The Seychelles Nation newspaper highlighted on Thursday in its digital and print editions the massive march held in Havana last Friday, December 20, demanding the lifting of the blockade and the removal of Cuba from the list of alleged state sponsors of terrorism.      

The article highlighted the massive response of the people of Havana, on behalf of the Cuban people, to the call of President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez to demonstrate the resistance of Cubans to the hostile policy of the US government.

Broad participation in European forum in support of Cuba

Paris, Nov 20 The Cuban Institute for Friendship with Peoples (ICAP) announced that around 100 organizations from 25 countries will participate in the XIX Continental European Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, taking place in Paris from November 22 to 24, including from Ireland.

The forum is expected to gather approximately 280 delegates to address several topics, including the condemnation of the economic blockade imposed by the U.S. on Cuba for over 60 years, according to Rigoberto Zarza, ICAP’s director for Europe.

UN vote in favor of the Resolution Necessity of ending the blockade against the people of Cuba.

Representatives of the Cuba-Barbados Solidarity Movement and the Parliament of Barbados and members of the State Mission attended today, October 30, at the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Barbados to watch the live transmission of the United Nations vote on the Resolution “Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba”.

Young Communists in the Netherlands organize a solidarity event with Cuba

Utrecht, June 10, 2024. Members of the Communist Youth Movement of the Netherlands (CJB) and the New Communist Party (NCPN) organized a solidarity event with Cuba, at the Cultural Center for Peace and Nature in Utrecht.

A video prepared by representatives of the CJB, with examples of the effects of the US blockade of Cuba for more than 60 years, began the evening, which also featured the intervention of one of the leaders of the Movement in Utrecht.

Art unites Chile and Cuba in Finland

The Chilean artist Rodrigo Rodríguez was received at the Embassy of Cuba in Finland. It was interesting to learn about the cultural work in Finland of the Machu Picchu group, that he leads, and their interest in carrying out activities with Cuba in 2024. Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association expresses solidarity with the Cuban people following the unfortunate accident at Saratoga Hotel.

Monrovia, May 7, 2022 - The Liberia-Cuba solidarity group expresses heartfelt condolences and solidarity for the terrible accident that occurred at the Saratoga Hotel in Havana.

In their message they join the sorrow of the Cuban people and send condolences and expressions of solidarity to the families and friends of the victims of such a painful event.

They indicate that they feel proud of the Cuban people because in only hours they were able to voluntarily donate blood to save lives.

President of the Liberia-Cuba friendship group visits Cuban Embassy.

Monrovia, September 13, 2021 - It was with great pleasure that the President of the Liberia-Cuba friendship group, Mr. Kesselee K. Kanneh, visited our Embassy and was received by the Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.

Both had the opportunity to have a very productive and fraternal conversation, and to review the programming of the activities of the solidarity group in the last four months of the current year.
