Utrecht, June 10, 2024. Members of the Communist Youth Movement of the Netherlands (CJB) and the New Communist Party (NCPN) organized a solidarity event with Cuba, at the Cultural Center for Peace and Nature in Utrecht.
A video prepared by representatives of the CJB, with examples of the effects of the US blockade of Cuba for more than 60 years, began the evening, which also featured the intervention of one of the leaders of the Movement in Utrecht.
Representatives of the Cuban Embassy in the Netherlands were specially invited for the occasion and gave a presentation about Cuba and the challenges imposed by the blockade and the maintenance of Cuba in the spurious list of countries that sponsor terrorism, for the development of the Cuban people.
The evening concluded with the enjoyment of good Cuban music, performed by a young Dutch.
