Brunei's Minister of Foreign Affairs II gave a lecture at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste, attended by Ambassador Alina Aldama.

Díli, February 20, 2026. Brunei Darussalam's Minister of Foreign Affairs II, Erywan Pehin Yusof, as part of his official visit to the country, gave a lecture sharing the experiences of a small nation within ASEAN, with the aim of strengthening strategic bilateral actions between the two member states of the organization. He was accompanied by his Timorese counterpart, Minister Bendito dos Santos Freitas.

Members of the government and diplomatic corps attended the event, including the Cuban Head of Mission, Alina Aldama.
