Burundian Minister of Health receives Cuban Ambassador

Bujumbura. On the morning of August 31, the Honorable Dr. Liduine Baradahana received the Cuban Ambassador Tania Pérez Xiqués at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health and Fight against HIV/AIDS of Burundi.

During the meeting, the Cuban diplomat reiterated the invitation sent by the Cuban Minister of Health to his Burundian counterpart to participate in the 2025 Health Convention to be held in Havana, Cuba in April of next year.

Likewise, the experiences of cooperation in health between both countries were discussed, as well as the possibilities of joint work for the benefit of the health systems of both countries.
