The Cuban United Nations Association (Asociación Cubana de las Naciones Unidas), together with its partners and collaborators, invites organizations, networks, movements, academic institutions, leaders, and other actors in international civil society to the online event “For Cuba’s Sovereignty, in Defense of Its People, the United Nations Charter, and International Law.”
The event will take place on June 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (Cuba time). It will feature the participation of various actors from Cuban civil society, who will discuss the devastating impact on Cuban society and the Cuban people of the U.S. administration’s policy of suffocation, which was intensified by President Donald Trump’s Executive Orders of January 29 and May 1st.
