Cambodia reiterated its support to Cuba’s presidency in G-77 and China

On 16 November 2023, Her Excellency Yentieng Puthirasmey, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, cordially received Her Excellency Liurka Rodriguez Barrios, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Kingdom of Cambodia. Both sides discussed the ways to further strengthen the cooperation between the two countries.

Yentieng reiterated the Kingdom’s support for the Cuban presidency of the Group of 77 + China.

The ambassador Rodríguez thanked the invariable position of the Kingdom in pronouncing itself for the end of the intensified blockade of the United States and for the exclusion of Cuba from the list of states sponsors of terrorism.
