Cambodia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Prak Sokhonn, expressed his satisfaction with the progress made in bilateral cooperation with Cuba, after six decades of ties.
This was reflected in the congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, on the occasion of celebrating the 62nd anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution.
In a recent meeting between the Cambodian leader and the Ambassador of the Island in Phnom Penh, Liurka Rodríguez, the links were weighed and the willingness to continue strengthening them was ratified, based on the experience of collaboration in areas such as health, education, sports, agriculture, among others.
In 2020, both countries reached the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Activities took place such as high-level exchanges, photographic exhibitions, documentary screenings, among others.
