The National Assembly (NA) of Cambodia is satisfied with the good cooperation between the Governments of Cambodia and Cuba, which have brought about benefits to both sides through the exchange of visits and mutual support on international arena.
The remark was made by NA President Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin while receiving courtesy visit from newly appointed Ambassador of Cuba to Cambodia H.E. Ms. Liurka Rodriguez Barrios, here at the NA Palace this morning.
Cuba is a good friend of Cambodia and always supports the Kingdom in all circumstances, stressed Samdech Heng Samrin, affirming the NA's support to H.E. Ms. Liurka Rodriguez Barrios for the success of her mission in Cambodia.
For her part, the new Cuban ambassador expressed her delight to fulfill a mission in Cambodia, and pledged to do her best to further enhance the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
H.E. Ms. Liurka Rodriguez Barrios profoundly thanked the Cambodian NA for its support to the promotion of Cambodia-Cuba friendship through the Parliamentary Friendship Group.
