Caribbean Panelists underscore the importance of the Caribbean Chapter of the Network in Defense of Humanity.

Eight illustrious personalities of culture, art and the Caribbean political activism formed a panel to conduct the debate before an audience of a hundred people who attended the Academic Forum under the title "The ongoing efforts of the imperialist powers to encourage separation, division and discord in the Caribbean: the case of Cuba, Jamaica, Granada, the French colonies, Guyana and Venezuela ". This was the central activity that marked the emergence of the Caribbean Chapter of the Network in Defense of Humanity, in Barbados.

This new initiative served to highlight the need for anti-imperialist unity and solidarity in the Caribbean. Its protagonists were Gerald Pereira (Guyana), Russel Bell (Jamaica), Dorbrene O'Marde (Antigua and Barbuda), Robert "Bobby" Clarke (Barbados), Line Hilgros (Guadeloupe), Garcine Malsa (Martinique), Sadia Acosta and Yamil Martinez (Cuba), representing the 30 personalities who decided to initial the formation of the new Chapter 10 countries in English, French and Spanish speaking.

Both in their presentations and interacting with the large audience, they analyzed the siege and terrorism against the victorious Cuban revolution, destabilization campaign against the government of Michael Manley in Jamaica, the invasion of Granada to defeat the revolutionary movement of Maurice Bishop, policies that disrupted the process of independence of the French colonies, as well as current efforts to overthrow the Bolivarian Revolution and to divide the Caribbean and Latin America, politically manipulating the territorial dispute with Guyana.
