Guyana, March 3nd, 2017. Valerie Alleyne Odle and Jhonson Alexandre, officials of the Office of the Assistant to General Secretary for Foreign and Community Affairs, received the Representative of Cuba to the Caribbean Community CARICOM, Ambassador Julio César González Marchante, in the headquarters of the organization.
During the working meeting, regional forums were discussed such as the Fifth CARICOM-Cuba Ministerial Meeting and the XXII Ministerial Meeting of the Association of Caribbean States, to be held in Havana shortly. During the cordial meeting, the commitment to continue strengthening the joint action for the unity and regional integration of our nations in those topics of common interest and mutual benefit was ratified.
