Guyana Georgetown. April 17, 2026. Representatives of the Cuba Solidarity Coalition in Guyana have held several public activities to appreciate Cuba's contribution to Guyana over decades, especially in healthcare.

A former President and seven Prime Ministers from CARICOM countries issued a statement on February 19, 2026, expressing their concern about the devastating consequences of an absolute blockade on oil supplies from third countries to Cuba, established by the U.S.
On Monday 9th, an open letter under the name "Let Cuba Live!" rejected Donald Trump´s new Executive Order that seeks to cutt off Cuba’s access to oil as an intentional attempt to induce famine and mass suffering to the cuban people.
