Celebration of Cuban Culture Day.

Wellington, October 20. Gathered in our Embassy, ​​members of the Latin Club of Wellington, celebrated with our diplomats the Day of Cuban Culture and the 60 years of the Club.

Ambassador Edgardo Valdés and the Club's president, Fiona McKensey, spoke briefly about the date and the importance of preserving and disseminating our cultures.

Friends of various nationalities shared a night at the movies and talked about diversity, tolerance, and Cuban culture, after enjoying the movie Strawberry and Chocolate.

The Latino Club promotes the Spanish language and the culture of our countries and has a long history of collaboration with our Embassy.
