Presentation of Credentials by the Cuban Ambassador to the Prime Minister of Niue

Wellington, November 27, 2024 – In a ceremony held at the Office of the High Commissioner of Niue in Wellington, the designated Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Luis Ernesto Morejón Rodríguez, presented his credentials to the Honorable Dalton Tagelagi, Prime Minister of Niue.

During the event, Prime Minister Tagelagi emphasized the importance of the relations between Cuba and Niue, which are based on mutual respect, solidarity, and a shared commitment to global peace and prosperity.

Auckland, November 25, 2024 - In response to an invitation from the Organizing Committee, Ambassador Luis Ernesto Morejón Rodríguez attended the Indian Newslink business awards ceremony.
During the event, he exchanged thoughts with Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, opposition leader Chris Hipkins, as well as several ministers and members of Parliament.
The annual gala, which recognizes business excellence, was marked by a rigorous evaluation process that identified the outstanding companies of 2024.

Cook Islands host visits from Chile and Cuba

RAROTONGA, 8th November 2024.- The Cook Islands has welcomed the formal accreditation of two new Ambassadors, with Her Excellency Mrs. Manahi Pakarati, Ambassador of the Republic of Chile, and His Excellency Mr. Luis Rodriguez, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, presenting their credentials to the King’s Representative, Sir Tom Marsters.

Chile and Cuba share longstanding ties with the Pacific region, and this accreditation ceremony reflects the Cook Islands’ commitment to enhancing its diplomatic and cooperative relations with both nations.
