Wellington, October 19. To celebrate the Day of Cuban Culture, a group of Ambassadors, and prominent academics linked to foreign policy and in particular to Latin America and the Caribbean attended the Embassy.
Among them, Mathew O´Meagher, Director of the Latin American chapter of the Asia-Pacific Center for Excellence (Latam-CAPE), Karim Dickie, Executive Director of the Caribbean Council, and Professor Roberto Rabel, national vice president of the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs (NZIIA).
Ambassador Edgardo Valdés referred to the origin of the date and the diversity of Cuban culture, after which those present enjoyed a Cuban movie and music.
