On the anniversary of the historic assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks, the Cuba-Türkiye Friendship Association, the Türkiye Communist Party (TKP) and the Cuban Embassy held emotional meetings at the Çankaya Youth Center and the Esat Neighborhood House in Ankara, as well as at the Güzeloba Neighborhood House in Antalya, dedicated to the Cuban Revolution and its unwavering struggle for socialism.
The event counted with the intervention of comrade Cem Taylan Erden, representative of the Association of Friendship with Cuba José Martí, who shared important reflections on the validity of the Cuban revolutionary process and the resistance of the Cuban people against imperialism.
Nahide Özkan, president of the Cuba-Türkiye Friendship Association and the Counselor of the Cuban Embassy, Oscar Redondo Ramos, were also present in the capital.
With a large participation of neighbors and an atmosphere of international solidarity, the commitment to the cause of Cuba, socialism and fraternity among peoples was reaffirmed.
