The Hague, July 26, 2025. Gathered at the Cuban Embassy in the Netherlands, members of the Diplomatic Corps, representatives of the Dutch Foreign Ministry, representatives from various economic sectors, close friends of solidarity, and compatriots residing in that country celebrated the 72nd anniversary of the attacks on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks.
The voice of #TheFightHasNotCeased was heard loud and clear from the known city of Peace and Justice. The demand of the Cuban people and the international community for an end to the blockade was also heard.
The keynote address of the event was delivered by Ambassador Eva Yelina Silva Walker, who emphasized that "Cuba remains a rebellious island, made up of men and women determined to safeguard the sovereignty they have won, at any cost."
As a Revolution can only be the child of culture and ideas, the evening was complemented by Cuban music, dance, and literature. There was also a space for children, who are the hope of the world, to participate in the "Paint Cuba" contest, the awards ceremony of which took place carried out as part of the commemoration of the Moncada uprising.
