Guyana. March 2nd, 2017. The Foreign Minister and Second Vice-President of Guyana, Honorable Carl Barrington Greenidge, received the Cuban Ambassador, Julio César González Marchante, in his office at the local Foreign Ministry on Wednesday afternoon.
The occasion was favorable to examine, in a cordial and friendly environment, aspects of bilateral and international relations, ratifying both parties the willingness to continue strengthening the traditional ties of friendship and cooperation as well as expanding the work to new areas that contribute, among others aspects, to regional integration within the framework of bodies such as the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).
