The Staff of the Cuban Embassy participated in the mega-concert "African Voices for Palestine" organized by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign in Ghana, the Ghana Socialist Forum (GSF) and the Embassy of Palestine.
For more than five hours, the public, mostly young, enjoyed the performances of famous Ghanaian musicians and other countries of the continent, who with their art expressed their support for the Palestinian people.
Mr. Ibrahim Awal Mohammed, Minister of Business Development, in his speech, reaffirmed the historic position of Ghana in defense of the rights of the Palestinian people. Members of Parliament, political leaders, traditional leaders, and a representative of the Diplomatic Corps were also present at the mega-concert.
The Chargé d'Affaires, a.i of the Cuban Embassy, Julio César Sánchez Martínez, in an interview with Radio Univers 105.7 highlighted the solidarity of the Cuban Revolution with the Palestinian cause, emphasizing the friendship that united the Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro and the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat.
