A representation of the Embassy of Cuba in Ghana, attended the homage to Professor Horace Campbell, organized by the All-African People’s Revolutionary Party (A-APR), at the Institute of African Studies from the University of Ghana.
The professor Campbell, a progressive intellectual born in Jamaica, and who concludes his stay as a visiting professor at the University of Ghana, made a broad speech in which he addressed aspects related to the history and current affairs of the African continent, and to balance of forces on an international scale, highlighting Cuba as one of the leaders of the Resistance.
The Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. of the Embassy of Cuba, Julio César Sánchez, thanked Professor Horace Campbell for his historic defense of the Cuban Revolution, and especially for his denunciation and actions against the blockade.
The professor Campbell, after reiterating his admiration for Cuba, made reference to how his grandfather worked in cutting sugarcane in the former province of Camagüey.
