Chargé d'Affaires a.i. holds meeting with Scholarship Director

The Charge d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Vladimir Guerra, held a meeting on July 4 with the Director of the Department of Scholarships of the Presidential Office, Dr. C. C. Mushohwe. The objective of this meeting was to discuss the status of the agreement between the two governments on the granting of scholarships to young Zimbabweans. During the meeting, the status of the candidates for the scholarships granted this year was investigated, as well as the main subjects of interest to the Zimbabwean government. From the 80s to the present, more than 3,000 Zimbabweans have graduated in Cuba in careers such as medicine, education and engineering.
