Buhera, April 18, 2024 - The Charge d'Affaires of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Yenielys Vilma Regueiferos Linares, participated in the Ceremony for the 44th anniversary of the Independence of Zimbabwe, which was chaired by the President of the Republic, Dr. Emmerson Mnangagwa, vice presidents Constantino Chiwenga and Kemo Mohadi and other personalities of the country.
Along with the population of the province of Manicaland, headquarters of the event, specifically, in the district of Buhera, a large representation of the Diplomatic Corps and a delegation from Mozambique were present.
Zimbabwe celebrates 44 years of its independence in a complex scenario in which unilateral sanctions have been imposed on 11 people and 3 entities, an intense drought that caused a national disaster to be declared, but with the firm conviction of its people not to return to being a colony of no other country ever again.
