Chargé d'Affaires of Cuba in Zimbabwe signs book of condolences at the Namibian Embassy

Harare, February 9, 2024. The Chargé d'Affaires of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Ambassador Yenielys V. Regueiferos Linares, signed the book of condolences opened at the Embassy of Namibia for the death of President His Excellency. Mr. Dr. Hage Gotfried Geingob. 

Throughout his life, President Geingob demonstrated enormous affection and friendship for Cuba. He always supported our country in the battle against the US blockade at the multilateral level.

In August 2023 he received his Cuban counterpart in Windhoek. He described the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz, as his mentor. Leaders of Cuba and the world have expressed their condolences for such a sensitive loss for the African continent.
