The Chargé d’Affaires of the Cuban Embassy, Julio César Sánchez Martínez, participated with a group of diplomatist from Spain, Peru, Colombia, Chile and Mexico, in the final phase of one Encounter of Knowledge on Iberoamerican that was held at the Casa Hispánica of the University of Legon.
In the Event six youth finalist made their expositions and they identified important personalities of different spheres of the six reference countries. The young girl Regina Abayah talked on Cuba and demonstrated knowledge on Cuban history and its places of interest. She is not has been in our country.
The Encounter was organized and moderated by four youth professors of Spanish Language and Literature, and one student of the final year. Four among them were in the Cienfuegos University as a part of the yearly program to improve the Spanish Language in that Cuban institution.
In the concession of the Awards, the Chargé d’Affaires, congratulated the participants and the organizers, and emphasized the significance of the Event, celebrated in the year that the Diplomatic Relations between Cuba and Ghana arrives at its 60th Anniversary.
