Nassau, April 9th, 2018. - The Embassy of Cuba in The Bahamas and the Association of Cubans Resident "Ismaelilloˮ celebrated a beautiful activity for children and youngsters on the occasion of April 4th. This year the date marks the Anniversaries 56 of the Young Communists Union (UJC, in Spanish) and 57 of the Organization of Pioneers José Martí (OPJM, in Spanish).
As part of the celebration, different traditional games were held. Also, a mini workshop was held on the national symbols designed by Cuban teachers who collaborate in the country. Likewise, the youngest ones learned more about the importance of April 4th for all Cubans, particularly for the younger generations.
On a happy and colorful afternoon, with piñatas and gifts, all of the attendees got carried away by the children´s joy. On this emblematic date for Cuba, the children knew more about their origins, culture and identity.
