Climate cooperation between Cuba and UAE strengthened

Dubai, January 8. Norberto Escalona Carrillo, Ambassador of Cuba to the United Arab Emirates, held a very productive meeting with Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, where they reviewed the areas of cooperation agreed between the governments of the UAE and Cuba, contemplated in a memorandum of understanding signed in 2023 and its action plan derived from this commitment.

Among other topics, the Ambassador highlighted Cuba's constant commitment as part of the alliances and initiatives created by the UAE for the protection of the environment, where Cuba can incorporate its experience.
