Commemorated in Malaysia the 60th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution

Kuala Lumpur, January 30- The Cuban embassy in Malaysia celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution with the presence of Deputy Minister of Labor, Mohammad Tahir on behalf of the government.

In the speech to mark the occasion, the Cuban ambassador Ibete Fernández highlighted the unity of the people and the confidence in their leaders as the fundamental factor that has made possible the survival of the Revolution. She mentioned that in spite of the fact that in 60 years the country has suffered all kinds of aggression and lives under an unjust blockade to isolate the country and denigrate the Revolution, the effect has been contrary because it has attracted sympathy and solidarity in the world. courage with which the Cubans have been able to defend their process.

She also pointed out that on February 24, Cubans will have the opportunity to reaffirm their support for the Revolution when they vote for the new Constitution that will ensure a better future for all our people in their efforts to build a prosperous and sustainable society.

The president of the Parliament, members of the parliamentary friendship group with Cuba, senators, businessmen, personalities of the academic world, a large representation of the diplomatic corps, Cuban residents, graduates in Cuba and members of the Solidarity Association were also present at the celebration. with Cuba in Malaysia.

The vice minister expressed his admiration for our Revolution and said he has served as an example for many people in the world. He also expressed his solidarity with the country after the afflictions suffered by the tornado that hit some municipalities of Havana.
