Cuba has friends in Malaysia raising their voices against the Blockade

Friends of Cuba in Malaysia staged a protest demonstration outside the United States Embassy in Kuala Lumpur last weekend to demand an end to the genocide against the Cuban people.

At the diplomatic mission, protesters delivered a copy of a declaration signed by 16 progressive and civil society organizations in Malaysia, rejecting the policy of hostility and aggression illegally imposed on Cuba by the U.S. government for sixty-seven years—a policy that has been intensified without any justification.

The Malaysian press publishes the denunciation of the multidimensional aggression of the United States against Cuba

Kuala Lumpur, June 13, 2026. The Malaysian national news agency, BERNAMA, and the Sarawak Tribune published the denunciation made by the Cuban Ambassador Yadira Ledesma Hernández of the United States' multidimensional aggression against Cuba that is multidimensional, ranging from economic and energy blockade to systematic threats of military action, provocation and diplomatic pressure.

Demonstration of Solidarity with Cuba in the Philippines and Tribute to Martí

Manila, May 19, 2026. Friends of the Cuban people in the Philippines paid tribute to José Martí and laid a floral offering at the park where his statue stands, on the 131st anniversary of his death in combat.

The poem they recited in Spanish was beautiful, evoking that they too cultivate a white rose for a true friend.

Statement of support for Cuba from the Socialist Party of Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, May 5, 2026. The Socialist Party of Malaysia (SPM) issued a statement strongly condemning the latest coercive measures and military threats against the Cuban people imposed by the U.S. government.
