Cuban Embassy Participates in Debate on Women's Empowerment in Foreign Policy

Kuala Lumpur, December 5, 2025. At the invitation of the Mexican Embassy in Malaysia, we participated in a debate on Women's Empowerment in Foreign Policy.

The “Mexican Feminist Foreign Policy” was presented, and participants exchanged views on their national policies promoting women's rights.

Kuala Lumpur, December 4, 2025. Before the end of 2025, the GRULAC representatives in Malaysia met, as they do every month, under the coordination of Cuba.

The occasion provided an opportunity to exchange information on the results of the events organized in the second half of the year by the Latin American and Caribbean Embassies in Malaysia, namely: the 23rd Latin American Film Festival and the 16th Latin Cultural Festival in Kuala Lumpur.

Both events showcase the diversity and cultural richness of the Latin American region.

Exchange on the work of civil society in Malaysia and Cuba

Kuala Lumpur, November 28, 2025. At the Cuban Embassy today, we learned about the work of civil society in Malaysia, particularly NGOs working in the field of humanitarian assistance.

It was a pleasant conversation with Mr. J. Johari, during which we realized the prominent role local NGOs have played in efforts to deliver aid to the Gaza Strip in Palestine.

We exchanged views on the Cuban experience in the field of civil society, Cuban NGOs with Consultative Status at ECOSOC, and the international cooperation offered by Cuba in numerous countries.
