Nairobi, May 24, 2022- As part of the celebrations on the occasion of Africa Day, the Cuban diplomatic representation in Kenya issued an invitation for executives of the Chancery, School of Government, Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council, Cuban cooperators and the Ambassador-Designate to Cuba, Gathoga Chege. That afternoon witnessed the consolidation of ties that bind the two countries and the common willingness to strengthen the bilateral relations.
The Cuban diplomatic mission renewed Cuba’s commitment to the African continent, by saluting Africa Day and spreading the pride to share deep cultural and historic roots with this region, which left a noticeable mark on the shaping of Cuban nationality.
The reading of the declaration presented by The International Relations Commission of the National Assembly of People's Power of the Republic of Cuba, was the culmination of such a pleasant meeting, conveying to Africa, on behalf of the Cuban people and government, sincere wishes for success in the implementation of its socio-economic development projects, especially those dedicated to the key issue of food security, certain that new achievements will be made bringing more prosperity and wellbeing for the brotherly people of the continent.
