On the occasion of commemorating the 15th anniversary of the death of the Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, the Ambassador of Cuba in Egypt Tania Aguiar Fernández took part in a seminar dedicated to the validity of his thinking, where a documentary about his figure was also projected and was organized by the Al Fatah Regional Office.
The seminar was also attended by Mr. Mohamed Kedwa, who was Governor of Gaza between 1998-2014 and a personal friend of Yasser Arafat, whom he accompanied on visits to Cuba and held meetings with Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
As part of the tribute, a photographic exhibition, the musical presentation of the Sunflower band and poetry recitation were held in parallel.
At the beginning of the activities, a minute of silence was dedicated to the victims of the recent Israeli bombings.
